How good is golf?  Over 60 million participants world-wide!  Some of those into their 80s and 90s!

An average round of 18 holes of golf amounts to 6-8 km of walking, 8000-12000 steps, with a 1500 calorie burn. Wow!

The repeated large forces on the body, however, can lead to some injuries.  Amongst other parts of the body, the lower back amounts to roughly 30% of all golfing injuries.

What can Physio do to help with your golf?

As well as treat injuries as they present themselves, many golfers choose to have regular preventative physiotherapy to improve and maintain their flexibility and strength to enable them to play golf for a long time!  Who doesn’t like playing more golf?!

What does a golf assessment and plan entail?
